WHO AM I?
I was born in the suburbs of Detroit Michigan, in a small city called Melvindale, so small if you get here by freeway every exit is Dearborn or Allen Park. I remember growing up with zero talent in the drawing department, I have gotten better but by no means would I ever consider myself an illustrator.
As a local artist I try my hardest to bring their ideas and passions to life. No matter where I end up, no matter what I do, design will always be my number one passion. I’ve always been connected to technology and video games have helped drive that passion. If there was a problem and I wanted to play a game with my friends I would learn what was necessary to open up that port, and allow them to join me in game.
I have been working with digital art programs since I first touched paint shop pro and I can tell you one thing, I’ve come a long way since using kaleidoscope and bevels…

LETTER OF RECOMMENDATION
To Whom It May Concern:
It is my pleasure to write this letter of recommendation for Jerry Moore. Jerry and I have worked together as student and instructor, as well as his role as assistant with the graphic design program. I can state with confidence that he is highly motivated and responsible with a high degree of integrity. I expect that he will be a very positive addition to your team.
As the Lead of the Graphic Design department I am responsible for the success of the program. Jerry began working part-time as an assistant over seeing the graphics lab and quickly took on additional responsibilities of IT, problem solving in the labs, creating materials for the department, and promoting the program. Jerry not only handled theses tasks effortlessly, he built up quite a following. He inspired many other students through his determination to keep learning and fearlessly pushing the assignments as a student. As assistant, with collaboration of IT, the labs were running 100% for the first time in years. He also took it upon himself to improve whatever he could in this position.
His academic training and abilities were evident, yet he realized that he would need to continue to gain skills beyond graduation. He has set high goals for himself and I do not doubt his success.
Jerry quickly became a trusted member of the graphic design department. Both as inspiring student mentor as well as a trusted assistant. Jerry is very easy to work with; he would bring his determination and creativity to any role he took on. If you need any further information about Jerry, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Sincerely,
Victoria Shepherd
